Ms. James’ first graders first discussed with a partner & as a class what qualities make a good leprechaun. Next they wrote an answer to the question, “Why would you make a good leprechaun?” (You can find that recording sheet here.) Finally, students used the ChatterPix Kids app to record themselves reading their sentences. Enjoy their work!
To celebrate the upcoming 100th day of school, Ms. James’ class used the AgingBooth app to see what they might look like when they are 100 years old. Next, we worked together to make a Venn Diagram of what they are like now versus what they will be like when they are 100. Enjoy their work!
Ms. James’ 1st graders watched a video story of Clifford’s First Snow Day. Next they used Popplet to make a graphic organizer of what they would need for a snow day with Clifford. Popplet can be used online or as an app on a mobile device. Their work was compiled via a Photos slideshow on a Macbook. Enjoy their work!
