When We’re 100… by Mrs. Bodovsky’s Class
To celebrate the upcoming 100th day of school, Mrs. Bodovsky’s class used the AgingBooth app to see what they might look like when they are 100 years old. Next, we discussed what they will be like when they are 100 and recorded their observations via Padlet. Enjoy their work!

Clifford’s First Snow Day by Mrs. Bodovsky’s Class
Mrs. Bodovksy’s Kindergarteners watched a video story of Clifford’s First Snow Day. Next they used the Drawing Pad app to draw a picture of what they would do with Clifford on a snow day. They also labeled their picture by sounding out a word. Their work was compiled via a Photos slideshow on a Macbook. Enjoy their work!
Hour of Code Week!
Mrs. Bodovsky’s students recently participated in the worldwide Hour of Code event to celebrate Computer Science Education week. (Click the embeded links to learn more about these events.) When students work on coding, they are learning to collaborate with others, developing critical thinking and problem solving skills, learning how computers and programming works and having fun! Halloween Counting by Mrs. Bodovsky’s Class
Mrs. Bodovsky’s kindergarteners watched Monster Mash (a Halloween counting book) on Tumblebooks. Then they worked with a partner to make their own page in a class Halloween counting book. They used the Drawing Pad app to draw their pages. Their work was compiled into a book and recorded with the 30 Hands Pro app. Enjoy their work!
Spookley the Square Pumpkin by Mrs. Bodovsky’s Class
Mrs. Bodovsky’s Kindergarteners have been learning to describe characters in stories. In the Technology Lab we watched the audio book, Spookley the Square Pumpkin, by visiting this Symbaloo webmix. Next, we discussed words that would describe Spookley and worked together to spell them. Finally, students worked in groups using the Draw & Tell app to draw Spookley and copy a describing word to label their picture. Enjoy their work!
